General training objectives
Working in the field of creativity requires specific knowledge and skills, as well as the application of techniques and methods adapted to the sectors and professional practices. The aim of this specialized training is to develop high-level, multi-skilled executives capable of meeting current and emerging needs for creativity and innovation in the medical, clinical, social, ergonomic, technological, economic, educational, artistic, management and management science fields.
This DESU is aimed at professionals wishing to diversify their areas of expertise, as well as students in initial training, to complement their initial training, with a dual aim of opening up to multidisciplinarity and professionalization. The modular organization of the Training program enables students to pursue a professional activity at the same time, as well as taking another degree.
Admission requirements
- Continuing training: admission is open to professionals with a minimum of 3 years higher education diploma and proven experience in the field.
- Initial training: graduates with an M1 or M2 degree, a professional license or a BUT (Bachelor of Technology), an engineering school, a business school, healthcare professionals (medical or paramedical graduates), art professionals, trainers, social workers and other graduates with bac + 4 (or bac + 3 under certain conditions) may be admitted.
The admission procedure comprises two phases:
- 1st phase: file analysis (pre-selection),
- 2nd phase: audition of candidates selected after the 1st phase (final selection).
Recommended prerequisites: experience in the field related to the theme.
Know-how and skills
Training is build around a number of modules, each with a multi-disciplinary approach combining forward-looking thinking and professional practice. The content offered prepares students to:
- Manage a creative project, in individual and collective situations;
- Participate in defining implementing of an innovation strategy;
- Analyze the characteristics of a field of application, understand and follow its evolution (e.g.: monitoring, benchmarking);
- Encourage the emergence and selection of creative ideas, then communicate them to others from different perspectives;
- Use methods and techniques adapted to each field of professionalization;
- Anticipate future developments.

Pedagogical program
180 hours including an internship
The courses are delivered in 6 compulsory modules:
- 1 module providing theoretical knowledge of creativity and innovation,
- 1 module on methods and techniques of creativity, design thinking and user-centered design,
- 4 modules associated with fields of professionalization:
- Creativity management,
- Behavioral and technological innovation,
- Creative and innovative pedagogies,
- Clinical approaches and artistic mediation.
Each student completes an internship in one of the 4 professionalization fields.
Training organization
Training is built around modules covering all courses, with each module combining prospective reflection and professional practice. Each module involves the participation of academics and professionals specialized in creativity and innovation.

The aim of the diploma is to enable future graduates to respond to current and future needs, whether in the context of an ongoing professional activity or outlets in high-potential creative fields:
- Creativity and innovation, with a specialization in the fields of work, health, the environment, prevention, innovation management and R&D;
- Creativity pedagogy, specializing in training, education and pedagogical practices;
- Creativity and artistic mediation for therapeutic purposes (e.g. art therapy, creative writing).

Courses are taught by teacher-researchers and professionals specialized in creativity and innovation from a wide range of disciplines (psychology, ergonomics, UX design and design thinking, economics and management, education sciences, language sciences, neuroscience, medicine, philosophy and literature).
