Governance of the InCIAM institute is provided by several complementary bodies that monitor, implement and evaluate the institute’s missions and activities. The institute’s executive office implements and coordinates the initiatives and missions of the InCIAM institute.

Our other strategic and operational monitoring bodies
Multi-annual meetings with our governing bodies enable us to carry out strategic and operational monitoring of our annual roadmap. This gives us the opportunity to share what we have accomplished and what is still to come. Our bodies - the STAB and the Advisory Board - have a supporting, regulatory and advisory role. Some members of our Institute Council have a voting role and are involved in our policies.
The Institute Council is made up of the research units affiliated to the institute and the components, and has the right to vote; the course leaders and the heads of the doctoral schools are invited to attend but are not entitled to vote.
The members of the Scientific and Training Board (STAB) advise us on our research and training strategies, as well as their implementation.
The members of our Advisory Board supervise the adequacy of the monitoring between the directives formulated by the governance of the A*Midex Foundation and the strategic and operational activities of InCIAM, listed in an annual and multi-year roadmap.
