Supporting creative processes and developing innovations in health, education and the workplace

A multidisciplinary scientific network, conducting fundamental and applied research related to the socio-economic and cultural world to understand and support creative and innovative processes, on the one hand, and develop innovations on the other in health, education and labour.

Creative activities give rise to scientific discoveries, cultural creations and innovations that address societal issues and transform people’s daily lives in areas such as health, education and labour.

InCIAM’s multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches lead to the development of objectives and methodologies adapted to the research and training fields of the various players within the framework of projects. InCIAM’s work focuses on processes ranging from the emergence of ideas to the implementation of innovations, and underpins the challenges of combining scientific, socio-economic and cultural progress.  Aiming for creativity and innovation, specialists from several laboratories anchored in different disciplinary fields collaborate with specialists from application sectors. From a research perspective, these interdisciplinary collaborations provide greater understanding of the creative and innovation processes to foster creativity and contribute to the development of innovations adapted to human capacities, limitations and needs. From the point of view of applicability, this approach is user-centred via the participation of beneficiaries, taking into account their objectives and capacity for activity.
