Areas of research

2 areas of research combining fundamental research with applied research and its exploitation

Area 1 concerns creative and innovation processes. 

It is a process of understanding, with an integrative approach to the creative and innovation processes. This area focuses on the development of methods and systems to support creative activities and the innovation process.  

In Area 1, our areas of research and associated expertise are linked to themes under the responsibility of initiators from several laboratories, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach.

The research fields of Area 1 are:

• Epistemology and genetics of creative production
• Understanding and supporting creative and innovation processes
• Analysis and support for the creative and cultural industries

Area 2 concerns the development of innovations. 

The aim is to meet the challenges of pressing societal demands, adapted to the capacities and limitations, expectations and needs of human beings.

In Axis 2, our associated areas of research and expertise are linked to the health, education and work sectors.
