40th anniversary of the Master EFHISI (Ergonomics Human Factors Information Systems Engineering)

The 40th anniversary of the Master EFHISI and the graduation of the class of 2024

An event organized by Prof. Nathalie Bonnardel, Director of the Master EFHISI (Ergonomics of Human Factors and Information Systems Engineering) and the InCIAM institute, on Monday December 16 at the Cube plateau, on the amU site in Aix-en-Provence. We would like to thank the partners who contributed to this event, and invite you to discover their activities:

Created by Prof. Claude Bastien in 1983, this Master's program is rooted in cognitive and ergonomic psychology. It addresses the challenges of expertise, studies and interventions in the workplace, with a focus on safety, health and training. In 1994, Prof. Nathalie Bonnardel joined the Master's teaching team, which she has headed ever since.

The aim of this Master's program is to provide students with skills in the study of human factors (i.e. the fundamental understanding of interactions between humans and other faculties - human or technical - in a system) in both work-related and "general public" situations. It thus provides students with a training program combining the different ergonomic approaches essential to understanding the diversity of factors involved in these situations: cognitive ergonomics, organizational ergonomics and physical ergonomics.
